A look at the work that comes after

Making biopharmaceuticals is where biotechnology works best, so handling that comes after is very important. How does "downstream processing" work?

One goal of downstream processing is to separate the desired product from the mixture and get rid of any unwanted substances that might make it not work the way it was meant to.
